Southeast Shuttle

Terms and Conditions

The following terms and conditions outline the agreement between Southeast Shuttle Ltd (referred to as “the company”), the purchaser and/or user of its services, and any accompanying individuals (referred to as “passengers”):

Limitation of Liability: Passengers and their property are transported at their own risk. The company shall not be liable for any passenger’s death, illness, injury, or any other personal or consequential loss or damage, regardless of the cause. This includes loss or damage to personal effects, luggage, or goods, regardless of when or how such loss or damage occurs.

Schedule: The company will make reasonable efforts to adhere to stated departure and arrival times. However, it does not guarantee punctuality and will not be responsible for delays caused by road conditions, traffic, or weather. The company shall not be liable for any losses or damages resulting from trip delays, departures, or interruptions.

Refunds: The company offers cancellation insurance which allows for a complete refund up until 24 hours prior to your trip. Without cancellation insurance the company will not refund payments, however a passenger may at their option choose the following should your travel plans change:
a) Change the date and time of travel at least four hours in advance of the booked travel date and time via our online self management portal; or
b) Up to the booked travel date and up to two hours before scheduled travel time, you may request a “credit on account” to be used at a later date. Within two hours of departure, no credits will be issued.
c) Passengers who miss their scheduled travel date and time (“No Show”), except where the “No Show” is the result of a delayed aircraft arrival at Winnipeg Airport, will not be permitted to change the date and time of travel nor will they eligible for a Travel Voucher. Where a passenger is delayed due to a late arrival of an aircraft, the passenger will be booked on the next airport shuttle.

Carriage: The company reserves the right to substitute its vehicle, transfer passengers, or their luggage as needed, and these terms shall apply to such substitutions.

Infants & Children: Passengers under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult. By law, all children must have their own seat and wear a seatbelt. Should your child require a car seat or booster seat, you will need to supply this for your trip.

Smoking: Smoking or vaping is strictly prohibited on board vehicles and in waiting facilities or shelters used for the service.
Behaviour: The company or driver may require a passenger to disembark or refuse permission to board if a passenger’s behavior is violent, abusive, aggressive, or disruptive to others.

Alcohol, Cannabis, and Food: Consumption of alcohol, cannabis, and food/drinks (excluding water in screw-top containers) is not allowed on board. Carriage of hot food and hot drinks in any container is prohibited. Passengers affected by drugs or alcohol, in the company’s reasonable opinion, may be refused service at their own expense.

Baggage: Passengers are allowed one suitcase and one carry-on bag. Additional items, like bikes or large items, may be permitted if space is available but must be arranged in advance. Fragile items must be protected, and no luggage should obstruct or endanger others. We ask that passengers assist our drivers by loading their luggage as directed by Company staff.

Left Luggage: Any property left on a company vehicle will be stored for up to 28 days at the owner’s risk. An administration fee may apply for property return, and freight expenses must be paid in advance by the passenger.

Fares: Future fares are subject to change without prior notice.

Mobility: Passengers with mobility issues should be able to board, disembark, and move around the bus unaided. Those unable to do so should be accompanied by an assistant.

Drivers and Passengers: Drivers may provide minor assistance at their discretion. Passengers must handle their luggage and comply with regulations, time restrictions, and driver directions. CCTV footage may be recorded for safety and legal purposes.

Emergencies: In emergencies or breakdowns, the driver may direct passengers to leave or reboard the bus, move to a safe place, or take other reasonable actions as determined by the company or the driver.

Animals: Animals allowed on Winnipeg Transit or domestic airline cabins may also travel on Southeast Shuttle Ltd, subject to restrictions. The company reserves the right to refuse carriage if an animal poses a disturbance or safety risk. Travel with animals may be subject to seating availability and specific seating arrangements on limited services.
